The Student Support Department aims to provide support to students, so they are inspired to create their unique future regardless of any academic, physical, development and/or social-emotional challenge they may experience.

We achieve this by utilizing an RtI Model to systematically identify, define, and resolve students’ academic and/or behavioral difficulties (NASDE, 2005; Brown-Chidsey & Steege, 2005). This means we offer a tiered continuum of support to address mild, moderate and intensive support needs as they arise (as depicted in the figure below). Finally, for each of the services and programs described below, there are entry and exit criteria that are used to determine eligibility.
