Every achievement begins with a first discovery.
Home to students from more than 75 nationalities, Stamford American International School welcomes children from 18 months to 18 years, with strong academic foundations, meaningful choices and the confidence to shape what comes next.
It starts with curiosity.
At Stamford American Early Years, children learn through play, inquiry and hands-on exploration. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, they ask questions, make choices and develop confidence in their own ideas while building strong foundations in language, literacy, numeracy and problem-solving.
97% of children meet or exceed their social-emotional developmental goals, while
91% meet or exceed literacy expectations.
And grows into real choice.
As children grow, so do their choices. Through the IB Primary Years Programme and beyond, students build on strong foundations, discover their strengths and develop greater independence in their learning.
By Secondary School, students can personalize their pathway through internationally recognized options including the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP), Advanced Placement (AP) courses and BTEC, or an individualized combination of courses. All students graduate with a U.S.-accredited High School Diploma.
In 2026, Stamford achieved a 100% IB Diploma pass rate, with 13% of students achieving 40 points or higher.
Ready to choose and just as ready to change course.
Their first discoveries start here. What comes next is theirs to explore.
