Welcome to Stamford American International School.
Every child is becoming someone. Our role is not to decide who that should be. It is to give them strong foundations, open more possibilities and build the confidence to choose what comes next.
That belief shapes education at Stamford from our youngest learners through to graduation. Students learn through rigorous American standards and internationally recognized programs, with the freedom to explore their interests as they grow. In High School, that choice becomes even more personal, with pathways through the IBDP Programme, AP, BTEC and Stamford courses. There is no single version of success here. There are different routes for different students, ambitions and futures.
But choice means more than selecting courses. It means learning to ask questions, try something unfamiliar, recover when things do not go to plan and make decisions with an understanding of how they affect others. Our teachers, counselors and families work together so students are known as individuals, appropriately challenged and supported as they find their own direction.
That happens within a genuinely international community. More than 75 nationalities come together at Stamford, bringing different languages, perspectives and experiences into daily school life. Students learn alongside people who may see the world differently from them—and discover more about themselves in the process.
The results matter, too. Stamford students leave with credentials that can open doors around the world, and our graduates go on to universities and opportunities across the globe. What matters just as much is that when those doors open, they have the confidence to decide which ones they want to walk through.
I hope you will come and experience Stamford for yourself. Meet our students and educators. Explore our classrooms and campuses. Ask questions. And discover what might be possible for your child here.
We look forward to welcoming you.
