Stamford American International School opened in Singapore in 2009 with a belief that still guides us today: every student has their own strengths, interests and possibilities waiting to be discovered.
A school cannot know exactly who a child will become. Nor should it decide for them. What it can do is give them strong foundations, open doors and create the confidence to explore what might lie beyond them.
That idea has shaped Stamford from the beginning.
Growing With Our Students
Stamford has grown alongside the students and families who have made it their school.
The Woodleigh Campus opened in 2012, followed by the purpose-built Early Learning Village in 2017. Today, our two campuses welcome students from Pre-Nursery to Grade 12, with spaces, programs and opportunities that evolve as they do.
The school has grown. The belief at its heart has not.
Every student should be known for who they are now, while having the freedom to discover who they might become.

As students grow, so does their ability to make choices. They explore new subjects, discover interests, change their minds and begin shaping an education that reflects their own ambitions.
By High School, students can choose from the IBDP Programme, AP, BTEC, individual IBDP courses and Stamford courses, creating different ways forward rather than one prescribed route.
