How Stamford’s Quality Is Recognized
At Stamford American International School, external review is an important part of how we maintain high standards and continue to improve.
Stamford is accredited, authorized and certified by respected international and Singapore organizations. Each looks at a different part of the school, from academic quality and internationally recognized programs to student wellbeing, safeguarding and school operations.
For families, these recognitions provide independent assurance that Stamford is meeting established standards and that the education and qualifications your child receives are recognized beyond the school.

Western Association of Schools and Colleges
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accredits schools against recognized standards for student learning, academic programs, leadership and school improvement. Stamford is fully accredited by WASC.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
The International Baccalaureate authorizes schools that meet its standards for curriculum, teaching, assessment, leadership and learning environments. Stamford is an authorized IB World School offering the PYP, MYP and IBDP Programme.
Council of International Schools
The Council of International Schools (CIS) accredits international schools against standards for learning, wellbeing, safeguarding, leadership and continuous improvement. Stamford is CIS accredited, reflecting our commitment to high-quality international education.
EduTrust Certification
EduTrust is Singapore’s quality assurance certification for Private Education Institutions, assessing academic systems, student services, governance and program delivery. Stamford holds EduTrust Certification, with its current certification running from October 21, 2024 to October 20, 2028.
