Larger Than Life SMART Steps Program
Physical education in the early years is proven to assist in reading, writing, concentration and awareness because there is a proven body-brain connection. This is why here at Stamford American, we place such importance on movement and physical development. Our larger than life physical education curriculum starts at 18 months with the acclaimed SMART Steps Program taught using specialist equipment, by trained teachers, in beautiful performance spaces. Children then progress to the Perceptual Motor Program at age 5 in Kindergarten. Add to this our new, purpose-built Early Learning Village with spacious indoor and outdoor areas for children to be physically active and challenged, and we have the ideal environment for your child to thrive physically, socially and mentally.
