In the highly competitive Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad, our representatives earned a remarkable 61 medals, including 11 golds. At the American Mathematics Competition, Middle School students Boyu Yang (Grade 7), Taida Gotoda (Grade 8), and Peini Li (Grade 7) received top honors. In the American Mathematics Olympiad, Stamford American students secured 47 medals, with Grade 5 student Justin Tang achieving a perfect score and ranking first both globally and nationally. Additionally, in the Inter-School Math Competition, Grade 8 student Kohei Tada and Grade 7 student Xiaohang Shi placed first and third respectively, helping Stamford American claim first place overall.

American Mathematics Competition (AMC) – January 2025

Among its three annual contests, AMC 8 is specifically designed for students in Grade 8 and below. The competition consists of 25 multiple-choice questions to be solved in just 40 minutes — posing a rigorous challenge, even for top-performing students.
