Health Center

Supporting Student Health and Wellbeing

At Stamford American International School, our Health Center provides care for students who need medical attention during the school day and works closely with families to understand individual health needs.

Stamford’s Nursing Department supports students across both campuses, from responding to illness or injury to helping manage allergies, medical conditions and other health concerns. The team also works with school staff to help create a safe and healthy environment for every student.

Health Support at School

Our nurses provide immediate care when a student becomes unwell or needs medical attention during the school day. Where further care is needed, families are contacted and the appropriate next steps are discussed.

The Nursing Department also develops emergency response plans for students with moderate or severe allergies and medical concerns, monitors immunization requirements and helps manage communicable illnesses. The team works in line with guidance from Singapore’s Ministry of Health and can connect families with external health professionals where appropriate.

Preparing for Your Child to Join

Sharing relevant health information before your child starts helps our Nursing Department prepare the right support from their first day.

Families should let Stamford know about allergies, medical conditions, medication or other health needs that may affect their child at school. Our team can then work with you to understand any individual requirements and put appropriate plans in place.

If you would like to know more about health provision at Stamford before applying or joining the school, our Admissions Team can help answer your questions or connect you with the appropriate team.
