Success at Stamford American International School is not one score, one qualification or one destination.
It can begin with a subject a student discovers they want to take further. A course they choose because it plays to a strength. A challenge that asks more of them than they expected. Over time, those choices build knowledge, confidence and a clearer sense of what they want to do next.

Every result represents years of questions asked, challenges worked through and choices made. For the Class of 2026, those efforts led to strong performance across Stamford’s IBDP and AP pathways, giving students credentials they can take with them into universities and opportunities around the world.

Strong Results Start With Strong Choices
The decisions students make in High School matter. Stamford gives them room to make those decisions thoughtfully.
Students can pursue the full IBDP Programme or create an individualized pathway combining AP, BTEC, individual IBDP courses and Stamford courses. Every student works toward a US-accredited High School Diploma, while choosing subjects and qualifications that reflect their interests, strengths and future plans.
Academic and College Counselors work with students and their families from Grade 9, helping them consider course choices, research universities and understand the requirements attached to different possibilities. Stamford currently has five dedicated Academic and College Counselors, with support continuing through university research, application strategy and essay preparation.
The aim is not to collect the greatest number of university offers. Stamford deliberately encourages students to focus on quality of choice, researching institutions carefully and identifying the places that align with what they want from university.
