Students entering Grades 11 and 12 are expected to have a near-native level of English speaking, writing and comprehension.

Stamford offers different levels of English language support according to a student’s age and English proficiency. For younger students, this includes English as an Additional Language support. For students in Grades 6 to 10 who require more intensive English development, the Preparatory Course for Secondary School provides an academic pathway alongside language development.

Some grade levels may reach capacity. If a place is not available for your preferred start date, your child may be invited to join the waitlist. The current admissions policy requires payment of the enrollment fee to secure a position on the waitlist. The fee is refundable if you choose to withdraw from the waitlist, but becomes non-refundable if a place is offered and you decide not to accept it.

Information includes school and course details, fees and payment arrangements, the Student Contract, fee protection, withdrawal and refund policies, regulations for international students, student support services and relevant school policies. Your Admissions Manager can answer any questions before you apply.

Students under 12 must live with a parent in order to enroll at Stamford. Students aged 12 and above may live with an approved guardian. Current options include living with an extended family member or family friend, boarding at ACS Oldham Hall, or an approved homestay arrangement. Parents must identify a guardian, inform the school and complete the required guardianship documentation.

If your child is offered a place, you will receive an official Offer Letter and instructions for completing enrollment. Families must complete the Student Contract, arrange payment of the required enrollment, facility and tuition fees, and provide valid visa documentation before the student starts school.

Students must have a valid immigration pass before starting school. Depending on your family’s circumstances, this may be a Dependant’s Pass, Student Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass.
