KG2 Design Technology students’ long term project

Inspired by the work of architects, they started with concept work and an illustrated plan showing the design ideas of their proposed building. Since then, they have been using cardboard, popsicle sticks and glue to make their buildings, adding to their constructions each week.

This project has allowed students to explore their spatial and geometric thinking and to consider engineering concepts such as structure, support, weight and balance. Students will continue their work towards the last weeks of the academic year by adding different surfaces, interiors, furniture, and sustainable living additions.

Tremendous work, KG2 architects!
