The road to university may be a long way off, but at Stamford American we realize the pathway to happiness and success starts young.

Our dedication to state of the heart learning and best practice early learning education is the cornerstone of our curriculum and all our decisions, but it isn’t done in isolation. Our extensive teaching team spans Pre-Nursery to Grade 12 across 4 divisions of Early Years, Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and Secondary.

A Stamford American learning journey is a pathway which is grounded in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme underpinned by American Standards. We carefully plan each and every step, so students are set up for success here in Singapore, and in the wider world.

At Kindergarten 2, your child “graduates” from play-based learning in the early years and moves into their first year of Lower Elementary. At Kindergarten 2 they enter a new learning phase which is the first formal year of schooling, but all while continuing to enjoy the tailored, age-appropriate early learning experience with their friends at Chuan Lane. There are milestones reached and celebrated in this important year, as they are supported and prepared for the move to Grade 1 at Stamford American, Woodleigh Lane Campus.

This transition is carefully considered to take into account the key developmental stages of children at this important age. The Lower Elementary team of education specialists are a close-knit cohort who share ideas, and work seamlessly together as they observe and track each individual student as they transition across the two campuses.

Every child happy. Every child learning.
