Stamford American International School offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) for students in grades 11 and 12. Stamford American International School accepts applications year-round, subject to availability, via our online system. Placement is confirmed only upon receiving an official letter from our enrollment team.
The Student Support Program is currently at full capacity for all grades, and waitlisted applicants will be prioritized if spaces become available. Application outcomes for Language Learners (KG2–Grade 10) will be released from March for Semester 1 (August–December) and from October for Semester 2 (January–June).

The most seamless transition into the IBDP is from the MYP, as it aligns with the program’s academic structure. It is important to note that the IBDP is a two-year program, beginning at the start of Grade 11 and transfers past this time can only be considered if already enrolled in the IBDP at another school. Transitioning from another curriculum may require careful adjustments due to the program’s specific requirements, including subject choices, assessments, and a distinct approach to learning. Early planning is essential for success.
