For the 2017-2018 school year, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2 students attending full days will have lunch provided as part of their School tuition. The lunch program will give our young students the opportunity to try a variety of types and tastes of food in a family-style setting. Meals will be provided by the Chartwells Food Group and will be in accordance with the school policy for fresh and healthy food. Students will have the added educational benefit of learning how to set a table, learn appropriate table manners and how to use the many different utensils correctly.

**Mandatory Academic Field Studies are an additional fee for Grade 3 through Grade 12 Students. These will be included in the invoice of the semester in which they take place. Please see the Academic Field Studies section below for fees and information.
All charges are expressed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) including GST. These fees are payable per student and are adjusted annually. School fees include all textbooks, workbooks and yearbook. Replacement of lost textbooks, workbooks, library books, iPads, MacBooks and other school resources will need to be funded by the student/family prior to the distribution of additional resources. The Technology Fee is not included in the Tuition Installments and must be paid annually prior to the student's start date. EAL Fee is a mandatory supplementary fee and is in addition to the tuition fee for students who require EAL, following assessment by the School.
Proration of fees is not permitted. Fees are non-transferable. A monthly installment payment plan is available using the DBS/POSB credit card program (2.5% convenience fee applies) by May 1/October 1. No other payment plans are available through the school. Tuition refunds are available in accordance with the withdrawal notification dates contained in the student contract and terms and conditions (Semester 1: May 1; Semester 2: October 1).
This fee is applicable for students from Kindergarten 2 to Grade 12. The Technology Fee provides access to all of Stamford's technology resources and includes maintenance, insurance and repair or replacement of technology as needed. The fee covers reasonable usage of the equipment, but will not cover repair costs related to misuse, water damage, screen damage, keyboard damage and physical damage to the exterior of the laptop. Each laptop is provided with a protective case to avoid physical damage to the laptop for normal usage. Stamford's education technology reflects the school's commitment to providing the best resources for our students and includes 1-1 iPads for Kindergarten 2 through Grade 5, 1-to-1 MacBooks for Grade 6 through Grade 12, classroom desktop computers, computer labs, Promethean boards in every class, video-conference facilities and more. This fee includes all hardware, software and human resources to support the program. All Information Communications and Technology (ICT) resources remain the property of Stamford.
All Stamford students are required to participate in Academic Field Studies as part of Stamford's education program for Grade 3 through Grade 12. The purpose of the Academic Field Studies program is to develop ecologically aware and engaged global citizens, who can apply their learning in group situations with a variety of challenges not available in the regular school setting. Participation in Academic Field Studies is mandatory and the Stamford attendance policy applies. Academic Field Studies fees vary according to grade level and will be included in the invoice in which the Academic Field Study will take place, payable in advance. A 50% discount on the application fee and the facility fee is available for the application of a third child and a full waiver of the application fee and the facility fee for a fourth child and beyond.
A 10% discount on the tuition fee is available for a third child and a 20% discount on the tuition fee is applicable for a fourth child and beyond.
(Discounts are applied from the third child onwards. For example, if there are 3 children in the family, the youngest child will receive the discount.)
Payment for school meals is possible online via myStamford, topping up at kiosks on campus, or through a daily plan that can be invoiced by semester. If a student with this plan withdraws from school before the end of the semester, a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the meals will be made. All balances must be fully utilized within a semester and are not transferable to another student or another semester. Stamford offers a door-to-door bus service for the regular school hours. The school also offers a Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) bus, during the weeks of the CCA semester, subject to the demand for the Woodleigh Campus. The bus providers are as follows.
Transportation Fees are invoiced separately and are in addition to school fees. Woodlands Transport and Tong Tar Transport are fee-based services. The Cognita Intercampus Shuttle Bus is a free service for the Stamford community which runs between the two campuses. Students currently enrolled in the school but not returning in August 2017, are required to provide notice to withdraw by Monday, May 1, 2017. Written notice is required if a student is not returning for 2nd semester. Notice is given through the online withdraw form on myStamford and must be received by the Admissions Office on or before this date. Please note that email notification to email@example.com or notice via the school's myStamford platform are considered written notices.
