Lynn Kachmarik Mentors the Stamford Community to Shape a Positive Sports Culture

Published by Admin

Lynn serves as the National Outreach Director for the Play Like a Champion Today at the University of Notre Dame. Prior to Play Like a Champion Today Lynn was the head coach for Bucknell University's (NCAA Div I) men's & women's water polo, swimming and diving teams. She has over 40+ years of experience as a youth, high school, collegiate coach and assistant National Team Coach.

We were lucky enough to have Lynn visit Stamford for a week working with faculty during their Professional Development days in discussing how to build a moral community and how to handle challenges that adolescents face both on and off the field. She also took time to meet with groups of students to discuss moral and character development and healthy lifestyle choices and gave a clinic at swim practice for our secondary swim team. In the evening Lynn held a parent conference on Character and Moral Development through Athletics in the Reagan Theater.
