Stamford American's Graduating Class of 2018

Published by Shakila Samuel

Congratulations to the Class of 2018!

We graduated 82 High School Students at a beautiful ceremony on Saturday, 2 June 2018.

The Senior Class of 2018 were dressed impeccably in their caps and gowns and processed into the Reagan Theater to music performed by our Stamford Orchestra. In addition to each being awarded their hard-earned Stamford High School Diplomas, select students were recognized for Subject, International Baccalaureate (IB) Learner Profile and Student Service Awards. Mrs. Rodostianos, voted by students to speak at the Grade 12 graduation for a second year in a row, compared the High School Experience to that of an exciting roller coaster ride.

Guest speaker Mr. Rob Lilwall, an adventurer who spent three years cycling from Siberia to his home country of England, encouraged graduating seniors to understand their fears, embrace challenges, and remember that no matter how alone they may feel, there are always people along the way to help. The graduation ceremony concluded with a hat toss in Stamford Yard and a reception in the Adams Cafe.

We wish all our graduates the very best and much success for their future!
