The participants had a chance to listen to NASA astronauts Steve Swanson & Tony Antonelli, together with NASA leader Sarah Murray, as they shared their experiences.
They also got to meet the group they will be working with for the rest of the week, design their own mission patches, and took part in the Mars Lander challenge, where they had to drop an egg from a certain height without damaging it.

What is Mission Discovery all about?
Mission Discovery Singapore is a 5-day camp where students will work in teams to design an experiment to be conducted on the International Space Station. Students will have the opportunity to learn from real-life NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration astronauts (Scott Kelly, Tony Antonelli, Steve Swanson)
