Celebrating Deepavali 2019

In the week before the Fall Break, Stamford celebrated Deepavali, or the "Festival of Lights" with lots of colorful outfits, dancing, and music. At the ELV, we had parent volunteers hosting a Community Cultural Awareness session for parents during which they shared more on the significance of Deepavali, held Dandiya and Garba dances and had participants sample Indian food. Students at both campuses were treated to fantastic performances by dance troupes!
