Stamford American International School's Parent Teacher Association – known as Stamford PTA – works hard to ensure students’ families and teachers are a valued part of the Stamford community. Through social events, Parent Connection Groups, volunteer opportunities and charity activities Stamford PTA aims to help everyone in our community find a way to be entertained, be involved and be connected.

The school year runs August to June at Stamford American International School.
You can volunteer your time or talents with one of many PTA committees, in the classroom helping teachers, in one of our libraries, in our Lion's Den Store or in many other ways.
General Meetings are held throughout the year for all members. Details are announced well ahead of time. The Annual General Meeting is held in May. The Board meets monthly to ensure the smooth management of Stamford PTA.
You can submit your motion to the Board one week prior to any General Meeting.
Room Parents act as the main liaison between class parents, teachers and the Stamford PTA. Their main responsibilities are to welcome families to the Stamford community and to keep parents up-to-date on PTA and class news and events.
