Stamford American is the 1st and only school in Singapore to partner with the U.S. Department of State’s EducationUSA. The authority on U.S. Higher Education is housed right here on campus giving students access to resources, up-to-date information and counseling on over 4,500 accredited U.S. colleges and universities. As part of this endeavor, Stamford hosted two exciting events recently.
The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) hosted their Singapore-wide information session at Stamford on 28 September at the Adams iLearn. There were over 50 students and parents, both from Stamford and other schools present at the Information Session. Mr. Andrew Hancock, Deputy Superintendent of Stamford American, a recent UCLA-NUS Executive MBA graduate, was there to address the audience and to introduce Ms. Deborah Wong, the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at UCLA.

The Council of International Schools housed the Council of International Schools Asia Tour at Stamford American. Twenty-nine college representatives joined the college fair at Stamford American's College Counseling Center giving students from Grades 9-12 an opportunity to learn more about universities, meet with representatives, and explore future choices. The colleges represented offered a broad range of options for students, including the Arts, Business, Sciences, Design, Engineering, and Psychology.
