Message from the PTA President

We’re gearing up for an exciting 2011-2012 school year! I look forward to catching up with the families returning to Singapore after the summer break and to meeting the many new additions to the Stamford community. Welcome!

We have a number of great events throughout the school year and many parent volunteer opportunities within the school. Some of my favorite events include the Family Photos taken in the Botanical Gardens and the annual student art calendar, both of which are ready just in time for the holidays. In the Spring we host a Charity Fun Run, gathering our entire community to promote healthy lifestyles by running for a worthy cause. Our parent social group, called Parent Connections, is a great benefit for families new to Singapore as it allows parents with similar interests to get together and meet new people.

All PTA events and activities are fully run and organized by parent volunteers. As a volunteer organization is only as successful as its volunteers, we ask you to join us and help make Stamford as dynamic and exciting a community as possible.  If you have any thoughts or questions you can contact the PTA at pta@sais.edu.sg.
