School Guide 2010 - Expat Living Feature
Posted in Stamford in the News by Expat Living on 01 July 2010Before we chose SAIS, we were already living in Singapore, so our biggest resource was people; talking to other parents, knowing what we wanted for our children’s education and then finding the school that best fit those needs. Stamford was it for us.

The small, nurturing community has been fantastic. The school really feels like a family; all the staff and students know each other by name, and the older children look out for and play together with the younger ones.
Stamford’s commitment to quality, the IB programme combined with a structured North American curriculum, the inclusive philosophy, and the resources that are available to support all the children are really important to us. The daily Mandarin classes have also made a huge difference to our children’s fluency in only a year.
The boys really enjoy school and activities like playing the ukelele, skating, American football and making things for the school’s art show.
