When does the school year begin and end?
The school year runs August to June.
What grades are taught at Stamford?
For the 2012-2013 school year, Stamford is open for students ages 2 through 15 (Nursery - Grade 9). Grade 10 will be added for the 2013-2014 school year and so on through to Grade 12.
What curriculum is taught at Stamford?
Stamford offers two rigorous programs of study: an American based curriculum enhanced by the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Stamford also emphasizes a strong foreign language foundation.
Stamford is an IB World School and is authorized to offer the IB Middle Years Program and the IB Primary Years Program and is pursuing authorization for the IB Diploma Program. IB World Schools share a common philosophy — a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Stamford believes is important for our students. Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) as IB World Schools can offer any of its three academic programs: the Primary Years Program (PYP), the Middle Years Program (MYP), or the Diploma Program. Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
Where is Stamford located?
Located at 279 Upper Serangoon Road (1 Woodleigh Lane), Stamford's campus features modern athletic and recreational facilities. Stamford's campus is located next to the Woodleigh MRT Station.
What languages are taught at Stamford?
There is daily Mandarin and Spanish foreign language instruction.
What special assistance is available to students?
Learning Support, English as an Additional Language and Mother-Tongue Programs are available.
What specialist instruction is provided?
Music, Visual Arts, Drama, IT, Physical Education, Dance and Library instruction is provided.
When should students apply?

What transportation is available to Stamford students?
Stamford offers door-to-door bus service island wide. Find out more here. Students may also choose to walk, bicycle, take the MRT or public bus or be driven to school.
What extra-curricular activities are available at Stamford?
Stamford offers a wide variety of co-curricular activities (CCA) including sports, arts, language, dance, drama and music to students in Kindergarten 2 and above. Activities are free of charge unless marked otherwise and vary each season. Activities have included Golf, Taekwondo, Sports Climbing, Phootgraphy, Parade Art, Choir, Zumba, Ballet, Drama, Robotics, Chinese Club, Math Competition, and Newspaper, among others.
