Founding

Stamford American International School (Stamford) was opened by Cognita in August 2009 and is a world class school for children of two years of age and older.  Stamford employs a holistic approach to educating children through a combination of American and International curricula. Stamford aims to not only develop students intellectually but also to cultivate the social, emotional, and physical components of every student. Stamford students acquire the academic skills necessary to flourish in school and at the same time, advance a deep, personal appreciation of other cultures, emphasized by daily Mandarin and Spanish classes. Our school’s Foundation Campus is centrally located on Lorong Chuan and features purpose-built facilities including spacious classrooms, an American football field, soccer field, basketball court and a swimming pool.
